Eco Village Member

The SERVE project is supporting the development of the unique Eco Village in Cloghjordan. This sustainable development will include 132 homes which will all be heated by a wood biomass and solar power district heating system. Demonstrating best practice in a range of sustainable building techniques this development is also show casing an alternative approach to developing a community.

The SERVE Project is funded under the EU CONCERTO Programme. The project aims to develop a sustainable region in North Tipperary through the implementation of actions in the field of sustainable energy. Actions will include energy upgrades for existing dwellings, installation of renewable energy heating systems, development of an eco-village in Cloghjordan and the development of a district heating system.
